Would this work as a ballet barre?

Yes I just answered your other question and it would work as long as you have the right thing to hang it up on the wall with. A foot is the length of a ruler and if you don't know what a ruler is (haha) it is about from your elbow to the end of your hand. If you want your ballet barre to be really long, you could make it fit the wall. If you want it to be just for 1 or 2 people, you could make it 6 feet or 10 feet. Good luck!
