Can you paint on an absorbent canvas?

Tough call, its absorbant and paint has water in it to keep it workable. I think it's going to dry really fast on the canvas and it's not going to blend very well either. I'm not sure how layering is going to work on it. But you know, you should try it anyway. Who knows, it might come out really good and prove everything i just said wrong. If it does dry fast you can try spraying the paint with a water bottle. I'm not sure if oil paint or anything oil based will work on it. I still suggest you try it though. :)
